10). The Poldhu Hotel, now a residential home
These two photographs were given to us recently by someone who unfortunately did not leave his name. They were taken by his grandfather while he was on holiday in Cornwall in 1909.

The hotel and the wooden towers taken from the road at the other side of Poldhu cove.

This one was taken from the coast path between the Polurrian and Mullion Cove hotels. This shows the wooden towers and also some other masts further inland. The wooden towers were erected in 1902 and demolished, to be replaced with tubular steel structures, a few years after these photographs were taken.
